The Student Guide Cocktail Bar: Easter Chocolate Martini

With Easter just around the corner, we bet you could have guessed the main ingredient of March's cocktail of the month!

It may be a time when it is socially acceptable to gorge on obscene amounts of chocolate. But it's also a time for stressing about final assignment deadlines creeping scarily closer.

Everyone deserves a break after a long day of study-stress and a cocktail will help to ease the pain.

In this choclicious season, what better excuse is there to indulge in a cocktail that will not only make you feel warm and fuzzy but also trigger those pesky little endorphins.

A Chocolate Martini is, for chocolate lovers, heaven in a glass. And you will be pleased to hear, it takes minimal effort. Perfect for when you feel like you cannot possibly exert yourself after your major brain-workout.

To make this exquisite happiness-in-a-glass, all you need is:

1 part creme de cacao to 4 parts vodka

Method:

Shake with ice and decant into Martini glasses (mugs/tumblers/plastic cups...you’re on a student budget, we get it!)

Even if you’re one of the lucky ones who doesn’t have essay-armegeddon looming, this will make a very classy pre-drink to set you up for your Easter-break nights out.

So, before you end up sick of the sight of the sweet stuff, go on, give yourself an extra treat!
