The Guardian have released their Student Media Awards 2014 shortlist

Universities across the UK were on tenterhooks to see who has been shortlisted for the Guardian Student Media Awards 2014… until yesterday.

On Wednesday 15th October, a full list of nominations for titles renowned in the student journalism industry was published. The winners of the 36th award show will be announced at a ceremony in London on November 27th.

Over 700 entrants fought for their place at the award, judged by prestigious industry figures from The Guardian, Financial Times and Buzzfeed UK.
