Got a student freshers hangover? Don’t make this mistake!

It's the most wonderful time of the year — Freshers!

Aside from the unpacking, awkward introductions, welcome talks and fairs, Freshers largely revolves around the nights out. Before the hard work begins, students have a chance to meet new people, let their hair down, have a great time and perhaps have one too many drinks...

But with great times comes great consequences. Hangovers never get any easier so now's the time to get clued up on some cures — spoiler alert — the 'hair of the dog' theory doesn't make you feel better!

Wren Kitchens have conducted a new study to debunk five of the biggest food and drink myths around, delving into both the history and science of each and working out how much truth there really is to these popular sayings. Break the ice with your new hall mates and impress them with your knowledge!

So whatever you do, don't try and drink yourself through a hangover!

Whether you're planning on dancing on the tables 'til dawn or stopping in to get some reading done, have an amazing Freshers!
