Are guys falling behind?

By Sj.Cliff
Are guys falling behind?

The university gender gap is widening. It would seem that men are turning away from higher education, widening the gap between their female counterparts.

UCAS applications for 2014-15 only hammer that fact home harder, with 333,700 women sending off applications compared to just 246,300 men. The figures doesn’t account for men going into other forms of higher education like apprenticeships.

If this trend carries on then the divide could make the gap between classes look like a joke.

Regardless of why it’s happening, the figures don’t bode well for all you guys out there.

It’s an even better reason to get studying boys! Prove them wrong!
