Rise Festival is where you want to be this Christmas holidayBy Editor
Thinking of going abroad this winter? Why not consider Rise Festival at the scenic French alpine resort of Les 2 Alpes.
From the 13th of December till the 20th, the retreat will be taken over by some big names in event and party promotion, Ibiza Rocks, Wasteland Ski and Rough Hill, to create a festival like no other. Think 'skiing, live music, club nights, colourful characters and even an outdoor pool party' all rolled into a 7 days of fun and revelry.
Referred to as the 'festival on top of the world', Les 2 Alpes is positioned 300 metres above sea level and claims to have within its vicinity the largest skiable glacier in the whole of Europe, as well as 225 km of ski runs and recreational facilities such as cinemas, swimming pools, restaurants, bars and around 50 hostels/hotels
In regards those performing at the festival, the event will boast heavyweights of the EDM scene, such as: Gorgon City, Jackmaster, Hannah Wants and B-Traits. Venues also include the awe-inspiring Snow Globe Stage and Ice Cube Stage and are set put on the biggest acts, but there will also be smaller, more intimate gig settings for those looking for a change of pace.
DJ brands such as Seedy Sonics (Birmingham), London's Shorebitch, Supa Dupa Fly (90s hip hop bangers), Apex from Bristol and Sheffield, London and Manchester's Gold Teeth will be in attendance, as well as UK-wide nights like Cirque Du Soul, Propoganda and ItchyFeet.
Those purchasing the tickets will enjoy the benefits of: a six day ski pass, coach travel from the UK, seven nights’ accommodation and no holds barred access to the entire festival goings on (gigs, parties, games)
All the tickets come with the full Rise festival experience, which includes seven nights’ accommodation, a six day full ski pass, coach travel from the UK and of course a full festival pass to all the parties, games, fun and frolics: there may even be a secret party or two, but you’ll have to keep an eye on the Facebook page for those.
Rather than spending your holiday days strolling around your high street, why not gather your mates and doing something special this season? It will be the perfect lead up to Christmas!
Tickets are priced at £369 and can be purchased here.
