Nozstock Festival is coming

By Editor
Nozstock Festival is coming

Celebrating its 17th year as one of the UK's leading home-made festivals, Nozstock: The Hidden Valley will be back this summer. Like always, there will be the usual mix of eclectic music and carefree vibes, with the theme set to be 'Nozstocker’s Guide to The Galaxy'.

The line-up is looking pretty exciting at the moment, as New York's finest, Wu Tang Clan and Motown legend, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas will head up the main stage and dance music coming in the form of Beardyman, Dj Hype and Dillinja

A handmade festival

As an independent festival is known for being unlike other summer festivals, being one that welcomes uniqueness and merriment in equal measure, hence why the father and daughter combination of Noz and Ella put together a festival full of a range of musical styles such as pop, ska, folk, funk, soul, indie, drum and bass, psytrance and, of course, house.

Just look how cracking it looked last year.

There is much to do at Nozstock

Made up of nine different stages, The Hidden Valley is located in the centre of Herefordshire and includes the Orchard Stage, a grassy area featuring a slope that is perfect for getting a good view, as well as the Garden Stage, a converted cowshed and the place to be if you're in the mood for some electronic sounds. There is also an emphasis on art in the Dingle, a place to go to get creative and watch short films or a theatre production.
For a festival that is a great contrast to most others, having built a steady reputation for nearly two decades, Nozstock is a must for the free spirited music lover. It's a place devoid of judgement, where fun is the principle objective.

Starting on Friday 24th July and climaxing on Sunday 26th July, Nozfest takes place at Rowden Paddocks in Bromyard, Herefordshire.
