Not lucky enough to be at Coachella? Just stream it live!By Editor
Not going to Coachella is very depressing. It's like a treasure trove filled with the best of the best (and makes many a journalist write in clichés).
If you're lucky enough to be heading to California, then you're sure to have the time of your life. For everyone else, they will have to make do with streaming it online via their official YouTube channel.
But don't worry; why not make the most of it? We'll give you the recommendations, you arrange the party.
Charles Bradley: He's a former James Brown impersonator and now at the tender age of 66, he's finally getting the recognition he deserves.
The War on Drugs: The Philadelphia sextet (or hexad) recently got into hot bother with professional grumpy man and lead singer of Sun Kil Moon, Mark Kozelek, so let's hope more drama ensues at this weekend's festivities.
Tame Impala: Sounding like John Lennon in The Beatles' psychedelic stage, the band are sure to play more songs from their upcoming album, Currents.
Azealia Banks: She recently showed a lot of nerve by leaving her label, resulting in a very experimental album. We'd go just to see how it translates on stage.
Run the Jewels: Hip hop duo Run the Jewels like to go hard at all times. At SXSW Killer Mike was attacked by a crazed fan, but handled the situation (kinda) calmly before continuing like a pro. Their music is also top notch.
FKA Twigs: She's taken the charts by storm, which is quite shocking as her music is trippy as hell. It's pretty great, though, and I hear she puts on a show.
Duke Dumont: Hear me out, trendsters. Sure, he's chart house, but I defy anyone not to get into the spirit when he drops I Got U in the Cali sun.
The Weeknd: After the only sexy song on the 50 Shades soundtrack, expect sexy vibes by the hat load. Yes, I said sexy vibes, what of it?
Mac DeMarco: This would be my personal pick of the week. His songs are awesome, his stage antics are even better. Expect covers of the most random of tracks, from Limp Bizkit to Coldplay. Just why he does this I do not know, but it's a beautiful thing.
Jamie XX: He just dropped his latest banger with fellow XXer, Romy, and has many bangers just ready to drop.
The Orwells: They're raucous and seem to be going against the current grain. They were shambolically delightful on a recent Letterman show, so it might be an idea to check them out.
Sadly, Drake's (undoubtedly brilliant) performance won't be streamed, which is a shame as he just rocked up to the festival wearing this:

Happy weekend, everyone!
