Londoners! Stuck for something to do this Halloween? Look no further!By Sj.Cliff
Now the nights are drawing in and the sun has gone for another year, we are of course heading into the spooky season. To celebrate the darkness Egg London is hosting their traditional and much loved annual Halloween bash on October 31st.
The whole club will be transformed with extra special and freaky production and ghoulish treats to make it into a nocturnal paradise, and the theme is Hollywood Forever, so everyone can dress up as their favourite tinsel town stars. Headlining the party will be Hector Couto, Cuartero, German Brigante, Tuccillo b2b Tomoki Tamura and Mar-T.
Spaniard Hector Couto has a long history of releasing dancefloor-focussed house and techno as well as playing at top clubs and festivals around the world. Labels like Kittball, VIVa and Material Series all release his work and the man knows how to work a floor like few others. As well as that, he also runs his own well respected Roush label that is a go to outlet for quality club beats.
Next up is another Spaniard in the form of Cuartero, who has released on labels like Desolat, Saved and Moon Harbour, and is a revered producer and selector of infectious and groove driven tech house.
Hailing from the south of Spain, German Brigante is focused on a bumping, groovy form of tech house that aims straight for your hips and keeps dancefloors filled with energy. From his use of percussion to the deadly basslines he designs in his lab, German’s sound is unmistakable and made to make people move.
Now running his own personal label Unblock as well as releasing on 2020Vision and Holic Trax, Tuccillo is a revered producer who is originally Italian and has been a producer for longer than 15 years. He is a self-taught virtuoso of the electronic sound and is one of the more prolific producers of the current music scene. No genre resists his talent, blending the electronic and analogical components to obtain his own and unmistakable sound.
He plays back to back with Holic Traxx label boss Tomoki Tamura, probably one of the most successful Japanese DJs in the world having held down residencies at places like The End. He also proves he has a great ear for A&R with the tracks he pulls together on his tough, house loving label.
Lastly, Mar T is a Spanish talent who is resident DJ at Amnesia in Ibiza and has been since 1999 and really knows how to work a crowd. His DJ sets expose his hedonist and sensual spirit so this is one not to miss out on. When it comes to producing he is just as special, releasing killer jams on WOW!, Sanity and Roush as well as Cocoon.
