Junior Paramedics BBC 3 starts tonight

The first episode of Junior Paramedics – following the lives of Northampton Universitys' paramedic students – airs tonight on BBC 3!

The team producing the show are also responsible for Junior Doctors: - your life in their hands. They’ve been working with Northampton Uni and East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) as the students embark on their first work placement on their foundation degree course.

The first episode shows the students moving to the Uni and after two months studying they’re off to meet their mentors and start their placements. Shifts last 12 hours as the students are thrown into real life emergency situations around the Northamptonshire and Leicestershire area.

The EMAS mentors play a huge role in not just the education of the students, but their overall grade.

Catch the show at 9pm tonight or watch it later on iPlayer.
