Fuse ODG to play a headline show at The Garage on June 4th!

With three chart hits in as many singles – Fuse ODG is fast becoming a certifiable mainstream star.  And now, having teamed up with Sean Paul for his explosive new single ‘Dangerous Love’, set for release this week (18th May via 3Beat Records), Fuse ODG is showing no signs of slowing down and has just announced a headline show at The Garage, London on 4th June!

Of Ghanaian descent but raised in South West London after returning as a teen, 26 year old Fuse ODG’s dual nationality has been very influential in shaping the universal direction and sound of his music. The past 12 months has seen Fuse ODG (aka Richard Abiona) go from strength to strength. Following the release of his globally successful debut single ‘Azonto’, Fuse ODG successfully went on to score two consecutive top-10 hits with ‘Antenna’ (feat. Wylclef Jean) and ‘Million Pound Girl’ which charted at number 7 and 5 respectively, amassing over ½ million cumulative single sales and notching up an impressive 50+ million YouTube views.  The past year has also seen Fuse garner a MOBO award for Best African Act, MTV EMA nomination, numerous bookings to perform to tens of thousands across Europe and Africa, including Wireless Festival and main support slots with the likes of Ke$ha, Eve and Wyclef Jean.

Further confirming that Fuse ODG’s unique style of combining his African influences with a global pop sensibility is reigning supreme, Fuse ODG has received consistent full support across Radio 1, 1Xtra, Kiss, Capital and Capital Xtra while the likes of Newsnight and BBC News have invited him to feature on their shows

New single ‘Dangerous Love’ featuring Sean Paul brings together two of the most prominent talents from Africa and the Caribbean, and they prove to be the quite the team. With its infectious chorus and afrobeats-dancehall-pop fusion, ‘Danerous Love’ has all the hallmarks of a summer anthem that is sure to not only become a common request on dance floors across the country and radio favourite,  but also make an impressionable dent on the UK charts.

Fuse ODG’s  debut album is scheduled for release this summer!
