Filth

By TheStudentGuide
Filth

Based on a novel by Irvine Welsh who is well-known for his previous bestseller Trainspotting, which smashed the box-office (1996), Filth is set to be released in September of this year and is bound to get people talking. Starring James McAvoy in a role more akin to his Shameless days than one of his more recent roles as a voice on Gnomio and Juliet, he plays a policeman with a few controversial hobbies. Judging by the trailer, it’s not a film you’d take your mum to see. Watch as McAvoy's character Bruce leaves a trail of chaos through his drug induced, alcohol fuelled, sex obsessed antics.
