Clint Eastwood’s new film American Sniper looks set to be great

Is there nothing Clint Eastwood can't do? A legend of western cinema, a superb director, and that chair he shouted at a few years ago didn't know what hit it.

This time, The Man With No Name actor has set his cross hairs on capturing the story of U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, branded the 'most lethal sniper in US history', in his latest feature American Sniper.

When Kyle (played by the always-dependable Bradley Cooper) is drafted to Iraq, he is given a solitary assignment: to keep his fellow soldiers from harm.

Based on the autobiography of the real life Christ Kyle, the film's conflicts begins when the Navy Seal's amazing marksman skills start to become known to enemy, making him a target. His life back home is also not so rosy either, being a man who needs to juggle his career with being a good family man.

We're very excited about this film, especially after the watching the trailer that has just dropped, which you can see below.

What's more, there is already talk that the Oscar-winning director might be onto another award, seeing how taut and thrilling this war drama looks.

With British starlet Sienna Miller in support, the film opens in the UK on January 16 of next year, and we are very excited about this one.
