‘Appy Valentines

‘Appy Valentines

Some people are literally attached to their phones these days. From something used solely for calls to something we can live without; smart phones really have changed our lives.

For the tech savvy (or those of you without a date tonight) here are the top apps on each platform for this week:

iOS- Splashy fish

Flappy Bird has left a huge hole in hearts an a total lack of trashy games to play, but Splashy Fish is here to fill the void. The most popular of the copy-animal apps, it’s the same game, pretty much the same layout but you’re a fish.

Google Play – Minecraft - Pocket Edition

Grown up Lego, this 3D, 8 Bit world is ridiculously addictive. Build yourself up from nothing, mine yourself a kingdom and try to survive monster-filled nights. Oh, and you can befriend a pig.

BlackBerry – BBM

It won’t come as a surprise to BB users, but top of their app store is BlackBerry Messenger. It’s evolved since its humble beginnings as just a chat app, now allowing users to calls, send photos, leave voice notes and more.

Windows – Vine

Top this week is the super successful Vine app. You have 6 seconds of video to get your message across. Ready…Steady….Go!
