‘App-y Valentine’s from Lidl

‘App-y Valentine’s from Lidl

Think Valentine’s Day couldn’t get any lamer? Think again.

Lidl have put their stamp on the holiday by launching a “Kissing X-ray” app.

The app (available on all platforms – why you’d want it God only knows) uses your camera to take photos of you kissing people, and then enters you into a chance to win £50 in store vouchers.
Before you try, there is a kind of technicality behind this.

You can’t kiss your hand/cat to try and trick your way into the contest. It actually has to be another human being, else you are greeted with the not quite as charming message:  “Our sensory equipment didn’t pick up any evidence of kissing taking place.”

So strangers count! *

There’s no better way to show your love… than staging an adorable moment to win £50 worth of budget food vouchers…

Happy Valentines (?)

*We really don’t encourage kissing strangers here at TSG Towers.
