Party looks to WOW this holiday season.By Sj.Cliff
It seems that everyone who can have a party, has a party around this time of year – which means you need to look your best a lot!
Our social media goddess Sophie has spent hours trawling the creative sphere of Pinterest to bring us the coolest, most inspiring Christmas beauty looks around!
I’ve had a look through to find the best look from each of the key areas, eyes, lips, nails, hair and overall look. See what you think…

I love this look! It’s one of those wonderful things that looks amazing but really doesn’t take that much effort. Simple and low maintenance, it checks all the boxes… glittery, party-ready and really creates a wow. Just start with a metallic neutral base and add your glitter with cosmetic glue and you’re good to go! Perfect come to be eyes (if that’s what you’d like for Christmas) is seconds.

A cute little bow bun to finish your outfit with gift-like finesse is perfect for this time of year… and surprisingly easy. Usually, if it doesn’t involve bleach, I’m not interested as I’m rather lacking skills in the hairstyling department. However this wee bun actually looks achievable for even the most oafish of hands… like mine.
Lips by jewelryhorace.blogspot.com (but nooo, the link is dead!)
So gutted the link to the tutorial of this lip-look is down – this is a real head turner! Deep and sultry berry colours blending into opulent gold shades just scream Christmas.
Without a tutorial it’s hard to gauge how realistic this party look is, but on a scale of one to 10 (based on my skill) this look would probably be around 100. So, if you have the skill, why not go for this daring metallic ombre number?
Nails by FlailsAndNails.tumblr.com
Simple enough for everyday wear, this subtle nail can be done well in advance of any parties you’re scheduled to go to. The little gem baubles are subtle enough to wear at work without looking mental, but jazzy enough to catch some attention on a night out. That, and the only effort you have to put in is drawing little lines on top of the colour of your choice and make sure you put glitter on the end ¬– simple but effective.
