Budding design students invited to create exclusive product range!By Sj.Cliff
Budding art and design students with a desire to break into the home interiors industry are being invited to take their first step onto the career ladder by designing an exclusive product range.
Online blind retailer, DirectBlinds.co.uk, is searching for the nation’s best up-and-coming designer, giving them the dream opportunity to create their own exclusive product range.
The company has an existing partnership with famous homeware designer, Julie Dodsworth, whose vintage inspired collection has already proven to be very popular. Now students are invited to take part in the opportunity to have their work published alongside this highly successful artist and gain exposure with one of the UK’s leading retailer for blinds and curtains.
Do you know a family member who is desperate to get their art work noticed and stand out from the rest? Are you a creative person bursting with innovative ideas? Simply share your designs with @DirectBlinds on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #makemeadesigner.
Nicolas Swift, joint Managing Director of DirectBlinds.co.uk, said:
We’re keen to support students who are keen to progress a career in design and this is the perfect opportunity for someone with real talent to get well-deserved exposure.
“We have the ability to print any pattern or picture onto our blinds and we’re looking forward to seeing what original ideas people can come up with.”
