Apply to work in the USA this Summer

Have you ever dreamt of living and working in the mighty United States of America? How about working in an Amusement park in sunny Florida, bar work in buzzing new York City or even working at a country club in Texas?

If the thought of spending four months living the American dream, making new friends, travelling and gaining work experience – then you cannot afford miss out!

BUNAC’s Work America programme is for full-time UK university students only, and closes on April 1st!

With this programme, you are assisted in obtaining your J-1 working holiday visa – which is available to students and allows you to work anywhere in the USA for up to four months.

BUNAC gives you access to their exclusive online Job Zone, with over 400 summer job vacancies available for you to apply to (many of which will provide their own accommodation!)

Industries that you can expect to find jobs in are: amusement parks, retail stores, country clubs, beach clubs, hotels, restaurants and bars.

You can also seek your own work independently. If you wish to find work that will look excellent on your CV when you return home and look for work – you can. And what’s better, once your visa expires, you have a 30-day grace period.

This means you have a month to spend all that hard-earned cash to travel. Hit up the beaches of California, visit the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon or soak up the vibes of the southern city New Orleans. The adventure is yours to choose.

Also included in the programme is advice and assistance on creating a CV, applying, securing essential work documentation, access to accommodation listings, group flights, BUNAC social events, a handbook and continued support from BUNAC advisors in both the UK and in the US.

Work America costs £399. Click here for further details on how to apply.

For further information about BUNAC, visit the website or telephone 020 7870 9570.
