Anticipated drama returns to Channel 4 tonight

Renowned filmmaker Shane Meadows tonight follows up the explosive, BAFTA award-winning This Is England '86 with This Is England ’88.

Haunted by the devastating events that took place 18 months ago, Lol and Woody both find themselves struggling to cope with the emotional fallout.

This Is England '88 will be shown in three hour-long episodes over three consecutive nights, starting tonight at 10pm.

It will be followed next year by This Is England '90, which will focus on the rave scene of the era.
