Rappers to play three UK dates

Kanye West and Jay-Z will be bringing the Watch The Throne tour to Europe in 2012.

The duo will kick off their UK stint in London on Sunday 20 May at the O2 Arena before returning to Manchester and Birmingham in June.

The European leg will also visit arenas in Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Belgium, Germany and Ireland.

The announcement comes after their chart topping album Watch The Throne, a 35 date critically acclaimed North American tour and recent Grammy Awards success, winning the award for Best Rap Performance for their track Otis.

Watch The Throne debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart with first-week sales of 436,000 copies in the United States.
