Hot Chip to headline Camp Bestival

Camp Bestival have announced a raft of performers for their 2012 event.

Hot Chip who released their fourth album, One Life Stand, in 2010 will headline the festival's opening night on July 27. The event's other two headliners are yet to be announced.

Kool And The Gang , Adam Ant and his band The Good, The Mad & The Lovely Posse, Little Dragon and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs are among a host of names also due to play at the event.

“I can't believe it's still only January yet my heads firmly entrenched in a field in Dorset in July thinking about all the mighty musical offerings and other fun and games we have lined up for Camp Bestival,” says co-founder Rob da Bank.

“From Chic to Hot Chip, Jimmy Cliff to Little Dragon and Mr Tumble to Rizzle Kicks it's another very diverse line up reflecting all the different ages and tribes that descend on Lulworth Castle each year! I hope to see you there."
