It’s very nearly Halloween, which means picking out the perfect costume and heading out to some of the most spine-tingling parties of the year!
Get into the monster mood with the help of True Blood, the sexiest show to hit our screens in living memory.
Dubbed the ‘Twilight for grown-ups’, and hailed by the Guardian as ten times better than anything on TV, where better to look for Halloween inspiration?
The show has a lot to offer from mythical monsters to steamy sordid encounters and blood soaked bodies. To help you transform from horror to hot, we take a look at some of the hottest men and women that make True Blood one of our favourite shows on television. 2011 will be the sexiest Halloween yet!
Sookie Stackhouse
Sexy Sookie (Anna Paquin) is the main character in True Blood. She gets romantically involved with vampires and doesn’t mind if you bite!

Bill Compton
Built Bill (Brit actor Stephen Moyer) is the first vampire romantically linked with Sookie. He is more caring and compassionate towards humans than most blood drinkers!

Pamela Swynford de Beaufort
Perfect Pam (Kristin Bauer) is a vampire turned by Eric. That probably wasn’t such a bad experience for either party!

Eric Northman
Edible Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) was a Viking warrior before becoming a vampire - Now he’s the vampire law and you’d better not get in his bad books. Also a member of the I heart Sookie club. Lucky girl.

Jessica Hamby
Joyous Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) grew up a strict Christian before becoming a vampire. She relishes her new found freedom but remains frustrated by the fact she’s an eternal virgin – no matter how much sex she has!

Alcide Herveaux
Adorable Alcide (Joe Manganiello) is a werewolf who could teach Jacob a thing or two. We want to be part of his pack. Very much.

Head to the HBO website for ideas and inspiration for planning the ultimate True Blood themed Halloween party.
Catch all of these hunks and hotties in True Blood seasons 1-3. The box set is available now on Blu-ray and DVD.
