Grand Theft Auto V trailer revealed

Trailer for next instalment in iconic game series

Rockstar Games has announced Grand Theft Auto 5 will be set in a city based on Los Angeles.

The trailer features masked gunmen, car chases, an exploding car and prostitutes.

The announcement comes after rumours about the new title were covered by gaming websites.

Grand Theft Auto IV sold 926,000 copies in the UK alone in its first week but attracted criticism because of the violence featured.

Rockstar did not give a release date for the highly anticipated game.
