Rapper to play nine dates in UK

Drake has announced UK dates for his 2012 Club Paradise arena tour.

The Grammy-nominated recording artist has confirmed a nine-date tour in March and April 2012.

Kicking off at Dublin's O2 Arena on 24 March, the Canadian rapper will then play at the O2 Arena London, Sheffield, Cardiff, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle and Nottingham.

The tour comes following the release of his second studio album Take Care last month. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 631,000 copies in its first week.

Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 16 December.
