Rob da Bank announced as the final addition to Bugged Out Weekender

BBC Radio DJ Rob da Bank is set to join the incredible Bugged Out Weekender line up in Bognor Regis' Butlins on the weekend 20th January – 22rd January 2012.

Armed with his eclectic selection of beats ranging from techno to experimental electronica, Rob da Bank is a much welcomed final addition to the colossal Weekender line up.

Now in its 17th year, Bugged Out boasted LFO at their first night back in November 1994 and since then they’ve had everyone from Daft Punk, Green Velvet, The Chemical Brothers, Richie Hawtin, Tiga, Boys Noize and Carl Craig play at their nights.

The Bugged Out Weekender promises to reflect the clubs history and future with a programme consisting of all the best in techno, acid house and bass music.

Emerging acts and collectives like Joy Orbison and Night Slugs will feature on the same bill as globally huge DJs like Diplo and Chase & Status and Bugged Out legends like techno founders Green Velvet and Kevin Saunderson.

The dance scene is pushing the boundaries like no other genre of late and the weekender will reflect and capture this.

The club partners confirmed for the weekend are the mighty Union who run clubnights all over the UK, have hosted huge events at London’s Fabric and been present at all the big dance festivals last year.

London’s Night Slugs, headed up by Bok Bok and L-Vis 1990, will be joining up with Glasgow’s Numbers gang who have also been responsible for some of the best music released in recent years from the likes of Hudson Mohawke, SBTRKT and Rustie.
