Adele, Mumford and Sons and Coldplay up for Grammys

Brits up for Grammy awards
English singer Adele and folk rock band Mumford and Sons have been nominated for prestigious Grammy awards.
Adele is up for six Grammys including song and record of the year, for Rolling in the Deep, and best album, for 21.
Mumford & Sons are up for four awards including record and song of the year, for The Cave.
Coldplay’s Paradise gained a nomination for best pop duo/group performance as did the late Amy Winehouse’s Body and Soul duet with Tony Bennett.
American rapper Kanye West could add to his 14 Grammys after receiving seven nominations while Foo Fighters and Bruno Mars joined Adele with six.
The nominations were announced at a ceremony broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening.
The ceremony was hosted by American rapper and actor LL Cool J while Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Usher performed.
The 54th awards ceremony takes place in Los Angeles in February.
