The 1975 - By Your Side
The 1975 have just released their cover of Sade’s ‘By Your Side’ to raise money for a charity called War Child. Matt Healy, the lead singer of the band, appeared on MistaJam’s show on BBC Radio 1 to premiere the new track. The track has maintained elements from the original but expect an atmospheric, emotional cover from The 1975.
Stormzy- Gang Signs & Prayer
Stormzy, the 23-year-old south Londoner, has taken the grime scene by storm with his latest release - Gang Signs and Prayer. His new album is bold, vibrant and jam packed full of famous voices. You can hear from Wretch 32, Ghetts, J Hus and Kehlani, who are all big names in the grime scene, but one voice you might not expect to hear on the album is Lily Allen.
Sampha - Process
After appearing on tracks from the likes of Solange, Frank Ocean, Drake & Kanye, early this month Sampha shared his new album Process with the world, proving that he is just as good as his collaborators. The album features Sampha’s flawless, prepossessing vocals and will not fail to please.
Elbow - Little Fictions
Elbow never fail to disappoint and this album is no exception. Little Fictions is the seventh album that the band have released, and it shows how the band are definitely going down a different creative route with this album. The band has produced uplifting ballads and they have pumped an element of soul into their music.
