Bond is back
Skyfall has been confirmed as the title of the 23rd James Bond film.
Daniel Craig - who made his Bond debut in Casino Royale in 2006 - will play Bond for the third time and final time. He is the sixth actor to play the role of Bond. Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris have been confirmed as leading ladies.
The launch in London came 50 years to the day since Sean Connery was named as the first Bond.
Dame Judi Dench will return as spy boss M while Ralph Fiennes and Albert Finney will also feature. Javier Bardem will star as the villain of the film.
Sam Mendes, who won an Oscar for 1999's American Beauty, will direct the movie.
He revealed the storyline will take Bond to London, China, Turkey and Scotland and see the spy’s loyalty to M being tested while spy headquarters MI6 faces an attack.
Producer Barbara Broccoli said no-one had yet been chosen to write and perfom the Bond theme tune.
Skyfall will be released in the UK on 26 October 2012.
